Michael Beckers

Michael was born on April 17, 1979 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated in 2002 from Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Business Management. While in college, Mr. Beckers was a member of the LSU Men’s Golf Team and was a two year Varsity Letterman

Mr. Beckers earned his law degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, earning a Juris Doctorate and a B.S. in Civil Law in 2005. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Beckers worked as an Associate with one the of state’s largest maritime defense firms. Michael joined Dodson, Hooks & Frederick, APLC in September 2007.

Michael is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana and is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and the Louisiana Association of Justice. Michael resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his wife of five years, Lesley Boyd Beckers, and his son, Henry Thiel Beckers.
